Ossett 34 vs 61 OORUFC
Ensians have another 5 point win but the chasing pack can still spoil the party

Ensians secure 5 crucial points on the road.

After a dominant first half and a more hard-fought second, Ensians 1XV secured a vital five points against a resilient, forward-dominant Ossett side. The backs were electric, running in a flurry of tries early on to take control and effectively seal the result.

A huge congratulations to Will “The Wizard” Howarth on a well-deserved Man of the Match performance, crossing for an incredible six tries in just 30 minutes.

This result keeps Ensians at the top of the table, now six points clear of second place Bridlington and seven ahead of third placed Roundhegians.

Ensians need just five more points from a possible ten in their last two home fixtures to be crowned league champions for an amazing third consecutive year. Something never achieved before in the club’s history.

Next week Otliensians face Roundhegians at Chaffers field. Kick off at 3pm.
