Otliensians struggle to find their form against an experienced team away at Leeds Corinthians
Ensconced in Yorkshire two for the last three years, Corinthians were always going to be a challenge for the young squad, comprised of 9 players under the age of 21!
Corinthians dropped down into Yorkshire three this season, and certainly have their sights on going straight back up.
From the start ‘Ensians were chasing the game, with the home side scoring two converted tries in the first fifteen minutes. Despite low morale from last weeks defeat, Otliensians stayed in the game throughout, and responded with successful attacks and scored two tries before half time.
Mid way through the second half, only three points separated the teams, it really looked like ‘Ensians had a chance, but sadly Corinthians kept up the pressure, and pulled away with another converted try to close the game at 39 - 28.
