About the Club:
We currently run 2 senior teams with the 1ST XV playing in Yorkshire 3.
We have a goodmixture of experienced and young players.
We have a Colts side and have good relationships with the local secondary school and are keen on promoting the Colts to senior rugby.
We have two excellent pitches, a first class clubroom and good changing facilities.
We have a floodlit 2nd XV/training pitch.
We have a qualified physiotherapist who helps out at training and on matchdays.
The club also enjoys a healthy social life, which we feel is essential in a successful rugby club.
In recent years, we have enjoyed success in the League, AireWharf Cup, Yorkshire Silver
Trophy and the RFU National Vase at Twickenham.

About the Role:
We are looking for a well driven individual to take up the role of Head Coach (Player/Coach will be considered).
The individual will have the opportunity to bring in his/her own coaching team.
The post is open to all levels of coaches.
The coach will develop players’ skills, motivate players and help the club to go from strength to strength.
The coach will take part in the team-selection process. The target is to gain promotion to Yorkshire League 2.
The position will include a financial expenses package which will be subject to negotiation.

Commitments:
Training nights are Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 7pm.
Match days are Saturdays.
We require a coach who is available to attend both training nights and Saturdays.
Training is expected to commence in July.

Be comfortable coaching players of varied backgrounds and experience.
Desire to develop your own coaching skills.
Become an integral member of the rugby structure of the club.
You will have empathy with players, recognising their needs and aspirations.
You will have in-depth knowledge of rugby techniques and skills.
You will have an ability to assess players’ performances.
