From Coach Kris Stafford:
"The message this week is we treat the preparations for Sunday as if it's any other week. We will review Saturdays game against Skipton on Tuesday, and create a training session to fine tune a few key areas. The squad will be announced to the players then as well, so that should put some people at ease going into Thursday. On Thursday we will preview South Molton (as best we can) and establish some key performance actions going into the weekend. The whole club is excited for this weekend, and it promises to be a memorable one. We have proven throughout the league campaign and Cup that we have the strength in depth to compete and win this competition. Providing we stick to our playing framework, and play the game not the occasion, I'm confident the trophy will be travelling back to Otley. "
From Organiser Ben Featherstone:
"Whilst it is "business as usual" for the players in the preparations ahead of the final at Twickenham on Sunday, it is very much a time for excitement and celebration for supporters, friends, family and newcomers of Otliensians. An army, some 200-strong, of supporters have already booked onto the official supporters' coaches for the big day out and we know of many more, at least 100, who have made alternative travel arrangements to ensure they don't miss out on this huge opportunity for the town of Otley. Supporters will be handed official club flags on Sunday to wave at Twickenham to turn the Home of Rugby into "a sea of blue and white". We're all incredibly proud of the boys' efforts to get to this stage - one more huge push for 80 minutes awaits in the bid to bring National silverware back home to Chaffer's Field."
I can't find any other reports for South Molton in the Vase, I hope this is enough to whet your appetite
